You can. We accept new members year round. Joining in the Spring is easy –just fill out the online application and submit your payment. Feel free to contact recruitment at aaf.uofi@gmail.com if you have any questions about joining.

What is a general meeting and why is it different than a committee meeting?

General meetings happen 2-3 times per semester. These meetings are for every member of AAF to come together and hear about on the next big event, industry news, and insider perspective. At these general meetings, AAF will announce important dates and host speakers or presentations that will add value to your academic and professional endeavors.

Committees meet anywhere from once a week to once every other week. These meetings are specialized to what you're interested in (Social, On the House, Member Relations) and will revolve around the committee(s) you chose to get involved with. We have over 10 committees so there are committee meetings almost every day of the week.
